The Holosun ARO EVO SPR and HM3X 3x Magnifier Combo (ARO-EVO-SPR-RD-HM3X) pairs the enclosed-emitter ARO EVO SPR red dot sight — 26 mm window, Special Purpose Reticle, Solar Failsafe — with the HM3X 3x flip-to-side magnifier, supplied together as one kit.
This is the most capable of the ARO combinations. The SPR reticle already carries BDC holdovers and a ranging feature calibrated for M193 5.56, and putting 3x behind it means you can actually resolve what those holdovers are aimed at. The magnifier flips clear with a push for a clean 1x sight picture, and both units align at lower-1/3 co-witness. The optic is 6061-T6 aluminium rated IPX8.

What is the Special Purpose Reticle in this ARO EVO SPR combo?
The Special Purpose Reticle combines a 1.5 MOA red centre dot, a 65 MOA circle, three 1 MOA BDC holdover dots below the centre, and a ranging reticle calibrated for M193 5.56 ammunition at 3050 FPS.
Does the HM3X magnifier flip out of the way?
Yes. The HM3X flips to the side for an unobstructed 1x sight picture, and the quick-detach mount takes it off the rail entirely if you want the rifle lighter.
Is the ARO EVO SPR in this combo an enclosed red dot sight?
Yes, the ARO EVO SPR uses a fully enclosed 26 mm window and the 6061-T6 aluminium housing is rated IPX8 for water immersion and tested to 1000G, so mud, rain and debris cannot reach the emitter.
What battery does the optic in this kit take?
The ARO EVO SPR runs on one CR2032 coin cell and is rated for up to 50,000 hours. Solar Failsafe supplements the cell in daylight, and the side-loading battery tray lets you change the cell without taking the sight off the rifle.
Will this combo co-witness with AR-pattern iron sights?
Yes. The ARO EVO SPR is supplied with both a 1.63 in (41 mm) lower-1/3 co-witness mount and a low mount, and the magnifier aligns with the sight at lower-1/3 height.
What is the ranging reticle calibrated for?
The ranging reticle is calibrated for M193 5.56 at 3050 FPS. Used with any other calibre or load, the holdovers and ranging marks will not correspond to the same distances.
