The Holosun AEMS Macro Red Dot Sight (AEMS-MACRO-RD) is an enclosed-emitter red dot sight with Holosun's Multi-Reticle System — a 2 MOA red dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both as a circle-dot — behind a 0.9 × 0.9 in (23 × 23 mm) window, weighing 2.5 oz (71 g) and using the AEMS Macro footprint.
It brings the large-window AEMS sight picture down to pistol scale: the window is noticeably bigger than a typical mini reflex, so the sight is easier to pick up with both eyes open. Red is the most widely used emitter colour and the most economical on battery. The sealed emitter keeps the reticle clear of dust, lint and rain, and Solar Failsafe, Shake Awake and Lock Mode back a CR1632 cell rated for up to 100,000 hours. The 7075 aluminium housing is IPX8 rated and tested to 5000G of vibration.
