The Holosun ARO EVO SPR Red Dot Sight (ARO-EVO-SPR-RD) is an enclosed-emitter rifle red dot sight with Holosun's Special Purpose Reticle — a 1.5 MOA red centre dot, a 65 MOA circle, three 1 MOA BDC holdovers and a ranging reticle calibrated for M193 5.56 at 3050 FPS — behind a 26 mm (1.02 in) window, weighing 4.33 oz (123 g).
The SPR is what makes this sight unusual. Most non-magnified sights give you an aiming point and nothing else; the SPR adds holdovers and a ranging feature, so a 1x optic can be used past the distance where a plain dot runs out of useful information. Red is the most widely used emitter colour and the most economical on battery. Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake back the CR2032, and the 6061-T6 aluminium housing is IPX8 rated and tested to 1000G.
