The Holosun AEMS PRO X2 Red Dot Sight (AEMS-PRO-X2-RD) is a full-size, enclosed-emitter rifle red dot sight running Holosun's Multi-Reticle System — a 2 MOA red dot, a 65 MOA circle, or both together as a circle-dot — behind a 1.1 × 0.87 in (28 × 22 mm) rectangular window.
The PRO X2 optical system reduces parallax by up to 50% against the original AEMS, and a forward-facing light sensor reads the light downrange rather than at the shooter's eye, so automatic brightness settles correctly when you come out of cover into open ground. Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake back up the CR2032, and the sight ships on a lower-1/3 co-witness mount with an ARD fitted.

What reticles does the Holosun AEMS PRO X2 Red Dot Sight offer?
The Holosun AEMS PRO X2 Red Dot Sight uses Holosun's Multi-Reticle System, which switches between a 2 MOA red dot on its own, a 65 MOA circle on its own, and the two combined as a circle-dot.
What battery does the Holosun AEMS PRO X2 use and does the solar panel replace it?
The Holosun AEMS PRO X2 runs on one CR2032 coin cell and gives up to 50,000 hours of runtime. The Solar Failsafe panel supplements the cell in good light and will keep the sight running if the battery dies, but the CR2032 is still required for low light and night use.
What is the difference between the AEMS PRO X2 and the AEMS CORE X2?
The AEMS PRO X2 has the Multi-Reticle System, Solar Failsafe and a forward-facing light sensor. The AEMS CORE X2 is the simplified model with a single 2 MOA dot, no solar panel and no reticle switching. The housing, window size and mount are the same on both.
Does the Holosun AEMS PRO X2 come with an ARD?
Yes. An ARD, or anti-reflective device, is supplied fitted to the AEMS PRO X2, along with a clear lens insert if you would rather run the sight without it. The ARD is a honeycomb filter that stops the front lens flashing sunlight back downrange.
Will the Holosun AEMS PRO X2 co-witness with AR-pattern iron sights?
Yes. The Holosun AEMS PRO X2 ships on a lower-1/3 co-witness mount, which sits the dot high enough that standard AR-height iron sights appear in the lower third of the window.
Is the Holosun AEMS PRO X2 suitable for use in British weather?
Yes. The Holosun AEMS PRO X2 has a fully enclosed emitter and a 7075-T6 aluminium housing rated IP67, so rain, mud and dust cannot reach the emitter and interrupt the reticle.
