The Holosun EPS Gold Dot Sight (SKU EPS-GD-6) is a full-size 1× enclosed emitter pistol gold dot sight running a fixed 6 MOA gold dot at 590nm, on the Holosun K footprint with a 0.90 × 0.63 in (22.9 × 16.0 mm) window and an RMR-to-K adapter plate supplied.
Gold is the reason to choose this one. The 590nm emitter sits in the part of the spectrum many shooters — particularly those with astigmatism — resolve more cleanly than red, and the enclosed window keeps rain, dust and lint off it entirely. An aspheric lens and ultra-low deck height give a clean sight picture and easy iron sight co-witness, in a 7075-T6 housing rated IPX8 and 5000G.

Is the Holosun EPS gold dot sight an RMSc or an RMR footprint optic?
It uses the Holosun K footprint and ships with an RMR-to-K adapter plate, so it mounts to Holosun K-cut slides directly and to RMR-cut slides through the supplied plate; it is not an RMSc-footprint optic. Our RMR vs RMSc footprint guide explains which pattern your pistol uses.
Why choose a 6 MOA dot on the Holosun EPS gold dot sight?
A 6 MOA dot covers about 6 inches (roughly 175 mm) at 100 yards, which makes it the fastest of the gold EPS reticles to find under speed and the easiest to track between close targets.
Why choose a gold reticle over red or green?

What battery does the Holosun EPS gold dot sight use and how is it changed?
It takes a single CR1620 coin cell in a side-loading tray, so the battery can be replaced without removing the sight from the slide or losing your zero, and one cell gives up to 50,000 hours.
What does Lock Mode do on the Holosun EPS?
Lock Mode disables the buttons so the brightness setting cannot be changed accidentally in a holster or a bag.
