The Holosun HE510C Green Dot Sight (HE510C-GR) is a 1x open reflex rifle green dot sight with the Multi-Reticle System — a 2 MOA green dot, a 65 MOA circle, or both together as a circle-dot — behind a 30 mm objective lens, in an aluminium housing with a titanium protective hood, weighing 4.94 oz (140 g).
It is the green-reticle version of the 510C, the wide-window open reflex sight that became a default choice on AR-pattern carbines. The large rimless window gives a genuinely heads-up, both-eyes-open sight picture, and many shooters find a green emitter easier to pick up in bright daylight than red. Solar Failsafe powers the dot from available light and keeps it lit if the CR2032 dies, Shake Awake sleeps the optic when it is still, and adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click with ±50 MOA of travel. The housing is rated IP67.

What reticle options does the Holosun HE510C have?
The Holosun HE510C Green Dot Sight uses the Multi-Reticle System, which switches between a 2 MOA green dot on its own, a 65 MOA circle on its own, and both together as a circle-dot. The 65 MOA circle is the fast reference at close range and the 2 MOA dot is the precise one.
Why choose the green HE510C over the red HS510C?
Many shooters find a green emitter easier to pick up in bright daylight, because the eye is more sensitive to green than to red at the same output. The trade is that a green LED draws marginally more current than a red one at the same setting.
What do Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake do on the HE510C?
