The Holosun ARO EVO SPR Gold Dot Sight (ARO-EVO-SPR-GD) is an enclosed-emitter rifle gold dot sight with Holosun's Special Purpose Reticle — a 1.5 MOA gold centre dot, a 65 MOA circle, three 1 MOA BDC holdovers and a ranging reticle calibrated for M193 5.56 at 3050 FPS — behind a 26 mm (1.02 in) window, weighing 4.33 oz (123 g).
The SPR is what makes this sight unusual. Most non-magnified sights give you an aiming point and nothing else; the SPR adds holdovers and a ranging feature, so a 1x optic can be used past the distance where a plain dot runs out of useful information. Gold sits between red and green and gives strong contrast against bright, washed-out daylight backgrounds. Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake back the CR2032, and the 6061-T6 aluminium housing is IPX8 rated and tested to 1000G.
