The Trijicon RMR HD Red Dot Sight (SKU RMHD1-C-3200001) is a 1× open-emitter miniature red dot sight running a switchable multi-reticle system — a 1.0 MOA red dot, a 55 MOA segmented circle, or both together as a circle-dot — on the Trijicon RMR footprint, powered by a top-loading CR2032 in a forged aluminium housing.
Two changes define the HD. The battery loads from the top, so a cell change no longer means unmounting the sight and re-zeroing it, and the brightness buttons face forward where they are reachable with the optic fitted. Everything else is the hard-use Trijicon the RMR built its name on: forged aluminium, sealed and waterproof, with adjustable LED brightness that runs from daylight-bright down to dedicated night vision settings.

Yes — the Trijicon RMR HD mounts on the Trijicon RMR footprint, so it fits RMR-cut slides and any adapter plate machined for an RMR, exactly as the RMR Type 2 red dot sight does.
Will the Trijicon RMR HD fit a Glock MOS, Springfield OSP or Walther PDP?
The RMR HD uses the RMR footprint, so it fits Glock MOS, Springfield OSP and Prodigy, Walther PDP and H&K VP9 optics-ready slides with the correct RMR adapter plate — our Trijicon RMR footprint mounting kit (AC32064) supplies that plate, screws and hex key. Slide cuts vary between production runs, so confirm your pistol's cut before ordering.
