The Holosun HE407K X2 Green Dot Sight (HE407K-GR X2) is a 1x open-reflex pistol green dot sight with a single 2 MOA green dot on the Holosun K (RMSc) footprint, powered by a side-loading CR1632 cell rated at up to 50,000 hours.
A 2 MOA dot on a small optic is the precise combination in the K-series: it covers very little of the target, so it still holds up for deliberate shots, and the green emitter reads brighter to the eye than red at the same output. The X2 generation adds Lock Mode against accidental adjustment and Shake Awake, which sleeps the reticle when the pistol is still and wakes it on movement.

Is the Holosun HE407K X2 an RMR or an RMSc footprint optic?
The Holosun HE407K X2 Green Dot Sight uses the Holosun K footprint, which is the RMSc pattern. It fits slides cut for an RMSc optic and RMSc-pattern adapter plates, and will not sit on an RMR cut without a dedicated adapter.
Will the Holosun HE407K X2 fit a SIG P365 or a Glock 43X?
Both of those pistols use the RMSc optic cut, which matches the Holosun K footprint on the HE407K X2, so the sight fits that cut directly. Check that your slide is the optics-ready RMSc variant before ordering.
Why choose a green dot rather than a red dot on the HE407K X2?
The eye is more sensitive to green than to red at the same output, so the 2 MOA green dot on the Holosun HE407K X2 usually appears brighter and better defined for the same power draw. It is also the easier reticle to see for shooters with a mild red-green colour deficiency.
Does the Holosun HE407K X2 have Shake Awake and solar power?
The Holosun HE407K X2 has Shake Awake, which sleeps the reticle when the pistol has been still and wakes it instantly on movement. It does not have Solar Failsafe — the K-series runs from the CR1632 cell alone, with Shake Awake supporting the 50,000-hour runtime rating.
