The EOTech EFLX Red Dot Sight 3 MOA (SKU EFLX3RWBLK) is a 1× open-emitter mini reflex pistol red dot sight with a 3 MOA red dot, the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint and a 6061 aluminium housing in Black.
EOTech built the EFLX as its own answer to the optics-ready pistol: a large, square viewing window over a 1.4 oz (35 g) body, with the CR2032 sitting in a top-loading tray so a battery change never costs you your zero. The 3 MOA dot is the finer of the two reticles EOTech offers here — about 3.1 in (80 mm) at 100 yards — which makes it the choice when the shot has to land precisely rather than merely quickly.
Finish: Black — this dot size is also stocked as the EOTech EFLX 3 MOA red dot sight in Tan.
How it compares
Want a bolder dot for speed instead? The EOTech EFLX 6 MOA red dot sight is quicker to catch on the draw, and is also stocked as the EFLX 6 MOA red dot sight in Tan. Browse the whole EOTech range, every optic for optics-ready pistols and the mounts that carry them, or read our pistol red dot footprint compatibility chart and red dot size chart.
Compatibility
Leupold DeltaPoint Pro (DPP) footprint — the EFLX mounts directly to slides milled for the DeltaPoint Pro pattern, such as the Springfield Echelon, or to a rear-dovetail mounting adapter. It does not fit the Glock 43X MOS, which uses a different slim-slide footprint. Slide cuts vary between production runs, so confirm your pistol's cut or plate before ordering.
Ideal for
- Optics-ready pistols cut for the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, or fitted with a DPP adapter plate
- Airsoft gas blowback pistol builds on a DeltaPoint Pro cut
- Section 1 long-barrelled pistols and licensed revolvers on a DPP-cut slide or adapter plate
- Shooters who want the battery to change from above, without unmounting the sight

What footprint does the EOTech EFLX use?
The EOTech EFLX uses the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro (DPP) footprint, so it fits slides milled for the DeltaPoint Pro pattern directly, or any optics-ready pistol fitted with a DPP adapter plate. Our pistol red dot footprint compatibility chart sets the common footprints side by side.
Will the EOTech EFLX fit my optics-ready pistol?
It fits directly on a DeltaPoint Pro cut — the Springfield Echelon is one confirmed example — and on other optics-ready pistols with the correct DPP plate or a rear-dovetail mounting adapter. It does not fit the Glock 43X MOS, which uses a different slim-slide footprint. Slide cuts vary between production runs, so confirm your pistol's cut before ordering.
Can I change the battery without removing the optic?
Yes — the EFLX takes a single CR2032 in a top-loading tray, so the cell swaps from above without unmounting the sight and without losing your zero.
Does the EOTech EFLX have shake-awake?
No — the EFLX has no motion activation. Instead it offers a user-selectable auto shut-off, either after 12 hours or not at all, so you choose whether the sight stays lit.
Why choose the 3 MOA dot on the EOTech EFLX?
A 3 MOA dot covers about 3.1 in (80 mm) at 100 yards, so it is the finer, more precise of the two EFLX reticles and the better pick for deliberate shots at distance. Our red dot size chart compares dot sizes directly.
How long does the EFLX battery last?
Approximately 25,000 hours at brightness level 5 on the 3 MOA model, from a single CR2032 coin cell.
