The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X (SKU 88066) is a long-throwing rail-mounted rifle light producing 1000 lumens output and 50,000 candela peak beam intensity for a 447 metre beam, with a 60 lumen low giving 3,100 candela and 111 metres. That candela figure is what makes it a genuine lamping light rather than a close-range flood.
It ships complete with both a remote pressure switch and a push-button tail cap, and TEN-TAP programming sets the mode order to high/strobe, high only, or low/high. It is dual fuel, running either one SL-B26 rechargeable pack or two CR123A lithium cells; this 88066 kit is supplied with two CR123A cells and does not include an SL-B26 or charging cord. Anodised aluminium body with a tempered-glass lens, rated IP67 with the push-button fitted.
