The Holosun HS507 ProMax Red Dot Sight (HS507-PROMAX-RD-PRS) is a 1x open-reflex competition pistol red dot sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with the Performance Reticle System — a 2 MOA red dot, or 8, 20 and 32 MOA circles — behind an enlarged 1.18 × 0.98 in (30.0 × 24.9 mm) window, weighing 1.7 oz (48 g).
The ProMax is the top of Holosun's competition pistol line. The window is bigger than the COMP's and a forward-leaning integrated sunshade sits over it, which is the part that matters on a bright range day: glare that would otherwise wash across the glass is cut before it reaches the shooter's eye. Solar Failsafe supplements the side-loading CR1632 and pushes the runtime rating to 100,000 hours, with Shake Awake and Lockout Mode. Twelve brightness settings run 8 daylight and 4 night-vision compatible.
