The Holosun HS407COMP Gold Dot Sight (HS407COMP-GD-6) is a 1x open-emitter competition pistol gold dot sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with a single fixed 6 MOA gold dot behind a large competition window.
It combines the two things that make a dot fast on a close stage: size and contrast. The 6 MOA dot is large enough to find without hunting, and the gold emitter shows as a warm amber aiming point that separates from red-painted steel and orange targets in a way a red dot does not. The 7075-T6 aluminium housing is rated IP67 and tested to 5000G, with Shake Awake and last-setting recall, and a side-loading CR1632 rated to 50,000 hours.
