The Holosun HS507COMP Gold Dot Sight (HS507COMP-GD) is a 1x open-reflex competition pistol gold dot sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with Holosun's Competition Reticle System — a 2 MOA gold dot, or 8, 20 and 32 MOA circles — behind an oversized competition window.
The gold emitter shows as a warm amber reticle, which is the reason to pick this variant: it separates cleanly from red-painted steel and orange targets, where a red dot can wash into the background at speed. The oversized window keeps the housing out of the way on draws and transitions, and the reticle can be sized to the stage without tools. The 7075-T6 aluminium housing is rated IP67 and tested to 5000G, with Shake Awake, Lock Mode and a side-loading CR1632 rated to 50,000 hours.
