The Holosun HE407COMP Green Dot Sight (HE407COMP-GR-6) is a 1x open-emitter competition pistol green dot sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with a single fixed 6 MOA green dot behind a large competition window.
A 6 MOA dot is the fastest thing to find on the draw, and green is the colour the human eye reads most brightly at a given output — which together make this the high-visibility, no-decisions option in the COMP range. There is no circle to switch and nothing to set between stages. The 7075-T6 aluminium housing is rated IP67 and tested to 5000G, with Shake Awake and last-setting recall, and a side-loading CR1632 rated to 50,000 hours.

Why does the Holosun HE407COMP use a 6 MOA green dot?
A 6 MOA dot is large enough for the eye to find instantly on the draw, and a green emitter reads brighter to the eye than red at the same output. On the Holosun HE407COMP Green Dot Sight the two together give the fastest, most visible aiming point in the COMP range.
Is the Holosun HE407COMP an RMR or an RMSc footprint optic?
The Holosun HE407COMP uses the Trijicon RMR footprint, so it fits RMR-cut full-size pistol slides and optics-ready pistols supplied with an RMR-pattern adapter plate. It is not an RMSc slimline optic.
What is the difference between the HE407COMP and the HE507COMP?
The Holosun HE407COMP has a single fixed 6 MOA green dot. The HE507COMP adds the switchable Competition Reticle System, offering a 2 MOA dot or 8, 20 and 32 MOA circles selected on the optic without tools.
Does the Holosun HE407COMP have Shake Awake?
Yes. Shake Awake on the Holosun HE407COMP switches the dot off when the pistol has been still and restores it on movement, with last-setting recall so brightness returns where it was left. It is what supports the 50,000-hour runtime rating.
