The Holosun EPS CORE Green Dot Sight (SKU EPS-CORE-GR-MRS) is a 1× enclosed emitter pistol green dot sight running the green Multi-Reticle System (a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle or both as a circle-dot) on a direct RMSc footprint, in a Hard Anodized 6061 aluminium housing measuring 1.61 × 1.18 × 0.97 in (40.9 × 30.0 × 24.6 mm) and weighing 1.4 oz (40 g).
EPS CORE is the essentials-only version of the enclosed EPS: it drops Solar Failsafe and the premium housing alloy but keeps the sealed emitter that is the whole reason to buy one. The direct RMSc footprint mounts to slim-slide pistols with no adapter plate at all, and the side-loading CR1620 runs up to 50,000 hours with Shake Awake and brightness memory recall.
How it compares
Prefer a single fixed aiming point? The EPS CORE 3 MOA green dot sight costs less. The same Multi-Reticle System in red is the EPS CORE red dot sight with Multi-Reticle System, and in gold the EPS CORE gold dot sight with Multi-Reticle System. Want the premium 7075-T6 housing and Solar Failsafe? Step up to the EPS Carry green dot sight with Multi-Reticle System. Browse all green dot sights and enclosed red dot sights, or read our green versus red reticle comparison.

- Target and gallery rifle shooters who see a green reticle more sharply
- Practical shotgun and 3-Gun stages where the 32 MOA circle speeds up close targets
- Airsoft gas blowback pistols used outdoors year-round
- Section 1 long-barrelled pistols and licensed revolvers cut for RMSc, with no adapter needed

Is the Holosun EPS CORE an RMSc or an RMR footprint optic?
The Holosun EPS CORE uses a direct RMSc footprint, so it mounts straight onto RMSc-cut slim-slide pistols with no adapter plate, and it is not an RMR-pattern optic. Our RMR versus RMSc footprint guide explains how to tell which cut your pistol has.
Will the EPS-CORE-GR-MRS fit a Glock 43X, SIG P365 or Springfield Hellcat?
The EPS CORE uses the RMSc footprint, which is the pattern cut into slim-slide optics-ready pistols including the Glock 43X/48 MOS, the SIG Sauer P365 series and the Springfield Hellcat OSP. Slide cuts vary between production runs, so confirm your pistol's cut before ordering.
Which reticles does the EPS-CORE-GR-MRS Multi-Reticle System give you?
The Holosun EPS CORE MRS switches between a 2 MOA green dot, a 32 MOA green circle, and both combined as a circle-dot.
What battery does the Holosun EPS CORE use and how is it changed?
The EPS CORE takes a single CR1620 coin cell in a side-loading tray, so the battery can be replaced without removing the sight or losing your zero, and one cell gives up to 50,000 hours.
What is the difference between the EPS CORE and the EPS Carry?
The EPS CORE is the essentials-only model with a Hard Anodized 6061 aluminium housing and a direct RMSc footprint, while the EPS Carry uses a 7075-T6 housing and includes an RMSc-to-K adapter plate.
Does the Holosun EPS CORE have Solar Failsafe?
No — the EPS CORE runs on its CR1620 battery with Shake Awake motion activation. Solar Failsafe is fitted to the Multi-Reticle System versions of the EPS and EPS Carry instead.
