The EOTech Vudu 4-12x36 Rifle Scope in this listing is the first focal plane (FFP) model with the illuminated MR5 MRAD reticle, a 36 mm objective, a 30 mm tube and 0.1 MRAD per click adjustment.
First focal plane is the reason to pick this scope over the 3-9x32: the reticle grows and shrinks with magnification, so every subtension in the MR5 stays true at 4x, 12x and everything between. Holds work at whatever power you happen to be on.
How it compares
Want a different MRAD reticle? The MD5 MRAD version is the alternative. This scope is also sold with an offset red dot as the Vudu 4-12x36 MR5 with EFLX red dot. Want more magnification? The Vudu 5-25x50 goes further. Browse the Vudu range and read FFP vs SFP rifle scopes explained.
Ideal for
- Target and gallery rifle shooting in MRAD
- Deer stalking at longer ranges
- Straight-pull rifles used for precision work
- Shooters who hold rather than dial, at any magnification
