The SureFire X300U-B Ultra Weapon Light, part number X300U-B-TN, is a compact pistol-mounted LED weapon light in Tan. It produces 1000 lumens output and 11,300 candela peak beam intensity from two CR123A lithium cells, for approximately 213 metres of beam distance.
The X300U-B Ultra attaches by a screw clamp, so it fits any host with a standard Picatinny accessory rail. Runtime is approximately 1.25 hours on two CR123A lithium cells. The aerospace aluminium body measures approximately 3.76 in (9.5 cm) and 4.0 oz (113 g), and is rated IPX7.
How it compares
Also available in SureFire X300U-B Ultra pistol light in Black. If you would rather index and lock the light on with a lever than tighten a clamp screw, the X300U-A Ultra pistol light in Tan is the same light on the Rail-Lock System. Browse all SureFire weapon lights and weapon light and laser combos, or see our lumens vs candela chart.
Ideal for
- Airsoft and training pistols with a Picatinny accessory rail
- Northern Ireland personal protection permit holders
- Any Picatinny-railed host — pistol, carbine forend or railed shotgun — where a compact light suits
- Range boxes, kit bags and low-light practice

Which pistols and rails does the SureFire X300U-B Ultra fit?
The SureFire X300U-B Ultra mounts by a screw clamp, so it fits hosts with a standard Picatinny accessory rail — pistols with a railed dust cover, and equally a carbine forend or railed shotgun.
Can I add a remote switch to the SureFire X300U-B Ultra?
Yes — the XT07 weapon light remote switch tailcap is listed by SureFire for the X300 and X400 families, and replaces the standard tailcap to give momentary and constant-on activation from a remote pressure pad.
How far does the SureFire X300U-B Ultra throw?
The SureFire X300U-B Ultra produces 11,300 candela peak beam intensity for approximately 213 metres of beam distance. Candela measures how tightly the beam is focused and is what determines throw, while the 1000 lumens figure is total output.
What batteries does the SureFire X300U-B Ultra take, and is it rechargeable?
The SureFire X300U-B Ultra runs on two CR123A lithium cells and is not a rechargeable light. Runtime is approximately 1.25 hours on a fresh pair.
What is the difference between the A and B versions of the X300?
The A version uses the SureFire Rail-Lock System, which indexes onto the rail and locks with a lever for quick fitting and removal; the B version uses a screw clamp, which is slower to fit but clamps down hard on a Picatinny rail.
