The SureFire ST07 Scout Light Remote Tape Switch, part number ST07, is a low-profile remote tape switch for SureFire Scout Light weapon lights, giving momentary-only activation from a slim pressure pad on a cable of roughly 7 in (17.8 cm). SureFire lists this switch for the Scout Light M300, M340, M600 and M640 families, excluding the Micro Scout Light Pro.
Momentary-only means press for light and release for dark, with no constant-on latch — the simplest and least snag-prone option, and the one that cannot be left on by accident. It fits Scout Lights such as the M640DF Scout Light Pro rifle light, M640U Scout Light Pro rifle light, M640DFT Scout Light Pro Turbo rifle light and M640T Turbo Scout Light Pro rifle light, and the compact M340C Mini Scout Light Pro rifle light and M340DFT Mini Scout Light Pro Turbo rifle light.
How it compares
The DS00 Scout Light tailcap switch is the tailcap on its own, with no cable. The DS07 Scout Light remote switch is a DS00 tailcap with a remote pressure pad built in. The DS-SR07 Scout Light remote dual switch is a DS00 tailcap with a dual remote pad. Browse all SureFire weapon light switches and tailcaps, or see the SureFire rifle and pistol weapon lights they fit.
Ideal for
- Rifle and carbine builds where the light sits forward and the tailcap is out of reach
- Lamping and night vermin control rigs, where the light must come on without breaking your hold
- Airsoft and practical shooting setups that need fast momentary activation
- Replacing a damaged, worn or lost switch on an existing Scout Light
