SureFire FURY IntelliBeam Dual Fuel Tactical Flashlight 1500 Lumens

The SureFire Fury IntelliBeam Dual Fuel Tactical Flashlight, part number FURY-IB-DF, is a cylindrical handheld torch producing up to 1500 lumens output and 34,000 candela peak beam intensity for 369 metres of beam distance on the included SF18650 rechargeable cell.

IntelliBeam is SureFire's automatic output system: a sensor reads the light coming back off what you are pointing at and adjusts brightness continuously, so a wall at arm's length does not dazzle you and a distant hedge still gets full output. It is Dual Fuel, running the SF18650 rechargeable cell or two CR123A lithium primaries at up to 1100 lumens, with up to 1.5 hours of runtime on the SF18650. The aerospace aluminium body is Hard Anodised black, 5.6 in (14.2 cm) long, 6.5 oz (184 g) with batteries fitted, and rated IPX7.

How it compares

For the fixed single-output version of the same torch, see the Fury Dual Fuel torch. For a compact turbo thrower, the EDC1-DFT Turbo torch. Browse all SureFire handheld torches, the wider handheld flashlights range, or see our lumens vs candela chart.
