The SureFire Fury Dual Fuel Tactical Flashlight, part number FURY-DFT, is a single-output cylindrical handheld torch producing 1500 lumens output and 34,000 candela peak beam intensity for 369 metres of beam distance on the included SF18650 rechargeable cell.
Dual Fuel means it also runs two CR123A lithium primaries, at 1500 lumens dropping to 1100 lumens, so a spare pair in the glovebox is all the backup you need. A smooth parabolic reflector produces a hybrid beam with real reach and usable spill, runtime is 2.5 hours on the SF18650 and 2.25 hours on CR123A cells, and the aerospace aluminium body is hard-anodised and weather-resistant at 5.6 in (14.2 cm) long.
How it compares
For a turbo head reaching 632 metres, see the EDC2-DFT Turbo torch. For a slim flat-bodied rechargeable pocket torch, the Stiletto Pro II torch. Browse all SureFire handheld torches, the wider tactical lighting range, or see our lumens vs candela chart.

- Lamping and night fox or vermin spotting, where a tight high-candela beam reaches out
- Farm, kennels, stables and yard checks after dark
- Night walking and dog walking on unlit lanes, footpaths and bridleways
- Vehicle, workshop and glovebox use
