It ships with both Picatinny and M-LOK mounts and with tailcap and remote pressure switches.

Eighty thousand candela from 1000 lumens is an unusually tight beam for this class, and that is the whole argument for the RAID: the output is concentrated into a hotspot that carries a long way rather than spread across the near field, which is what you need to positively identify something at the far end of a field before deciding anything. The 7075-T6 aluminium body is rated IP68, and because both mounting standards and both switch types are in the box, it goes onto a Picatinny or M-LOK handguard without a further purchase.

How It Compares

On a pistol rail, the P.ID weapon light gives 1000 lumens at 23,000 candela and the P.ID HC weapon light is the high-candela pistol equivalent. At 80,000 candela the Holosun RAID Weapon Light has a tightly focused, long-reaching beam, which is high for a light in this class and is what makes it a distance identification tool.

What mounts come with the Holosun RAID?
The Holosun RAID is supplied with both a Picatinny mount and an M-LOK mount, so it fits either handguard standard straight out of the box without a separate purchase.

How is the Holosun RAID switched on?
The Holosun RAID comes with a tailcap switch and a remote pressure switch, both included, so it can be run from the tailcap directly or from a pad positioned on the handguard.

What battery does the Holosun RAID use and how is it charged?
The Holosun RAID runs on a rechargeable 18650 cell charged over USB-C, so no disposable cells are needed.

Is the Holosun RAID waterproof?
Yes. The Holosun RAID is rated IP68 in a 7075-T6 aluminium body, which covers dust ingress and immersion in water.

How does the Holosun RAID compare with the P.ID pistol lights?
The Holosun RAID is a rifle light with 80,000 candela of focused throw and both Picatinny and M-LOK mounts. The P.ID family are pistol lights on Picatinny accessory rails, with the P.ID HC the closest in intent at 42,000 candela.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0995/2005/3592/files/holosun-raid-weapon-light-1000-lumens-80-000-candela-high-throw-raid-1.jpg?v=1789007646
https://opticstrader.co.uk/products/holosun-raid-weapon-light-1000-lumens-80-000-candela-high-throw-raid
