It has 2.75x (fixed) magnification, a 20 mm objective, a 1 in (25.4 mm) main tube and ~9.2–12 in (~234–305 mm) of eye relief — far more than a conventional rifle scope, which is what lets it sit forward on the barrel and still give a full sight picture with both eyes open.

The Ballistic Plex reticle gives intuitive holdover references below the crosshair, so you hold for distance rather than dial. The Burris Scout 200269 gives ~9.2–12 in (~234–305 mm) of eye relief, which is what makes that forward position workable and lets you shoot with both eyes open and full peripheral awareness.

Is the reticle on the Burris Scout 200269 illuminated?
No. The Ballistic Plex reticle on the Burris Scout 200269 is not illuminated.

What does the Ballistic Plex reticle do?
It is Burris's trajectory-compensating reticle: below the main crosshair are holdover references you aim with at longer ranges, so you hold rather than dial.

What rings does the Burris Scout 200269 need?
It has a 1 in (25.4 mm) main tube, so it needs standard 1-inch rings fitted to a forward scout mount or rail. Rings are not included.

Should I choose the 2.75x20 or the 2-7x32 Burris Scout?
The 2-7x32 is variable, so it adds magnification for longer shots and has a larger objective; the fixed 2.75x20 is simpler and lighter. Both share the same Ballistic Plex reticle and long eye relief.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0995/2005/3592/files/burris-scout-2-75x20-rifle-scope-sfp-ballistic-plex-reticle-200269-1.jpg?v=1789007618
https://opticstrader.co.uk/products/burris-scout-2-75x20-rifle-scope-sfp-ballistic-plex-reticle-200269
